- Join me for a June garden tour of our zone 4B large scale garden. We grow in just over a half acre of garden space on our homestead in Nebraska. This garden provides us with all of the fruits and vegetables we need to fill our pantry each year, and it also provides a lot of extra produce that we sell at our local farmers market. In today's video, I'm giving you an early June tour of our market garden, and sharing with you a few tips and tricks for growing a large scale garden.
It's also haying time on the homestead, and I'll show you how we mow the hay down that we feed to our milk cows in the winter. There's nothing quite as satisfying as turning grass and hay into milk, butter, yogurt, cheese, and ice cream.
